Weave Your Dreams at The Garden of Wishes

Hong Kong, 28th January, 2021 – Lunar New Year is a time to bring the family together, celebrate traditions, and make new wishes for a prosperous future. This holiday season, weave your dreams and set new intentions at LANDMARK’s The Garden of Wishes, a flourishing bamboo garden presented with local artisan Ting For Chun Angus from YIWOOO.CO at LANDMARK ATRIUM from now to 27th February 2021.

Bringing the bamboo forest to life is YIWOOO.CO founder Ting, who champions heritage craftsmanship and nature in his artwork. The talented local artist first fell in love with the Japanese art of bamboo weaving, called takezaiku, on a trip to Kyoto and later set up his contemporary bamboo craft brand YIWOOO.CO in 2018.

The Garden of Wishes will transport you to an enchanted world where dreams come true. Specialising in bamboo craftsmanship, Ting through the meticulous details in the bamboo weavings and the water and stone elements from the LANDMARK fountain, creates a modern reimagination of a Chinese Garden embodying the linkage between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary lifestyle.

Discover the intricacy of bamboo craftsmanship and draw upon four wishes from the weaving patterns along the pathway: Good Fortune, Longevity, Harmony and Vitality – represents wishes, hopes and dreams for a healthy, unified and prosperous year ahead. Feel the flow of a new lunar cycle, sense the life source of trickling water under the tangerine tree and let the wisdom within the intertwined bamboo enrich your soul.

LANDMARK wishes you a healthy, happy and harmonious Lunar New Year. May all your wishes come true!
