Celebrate Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024 Return to Hong Kong
Hong Kong, 8 July 2024 – LANDMARK is hosting 9 exclusive guest shifts and events this July to mark the return of Asia’s 50 Best Bars to Hong Kong.
With Hong Kong poised to host Asia’s 50 Best Bars for the second consecutive year, uniting the crème de la crème of global bartending and a full gathering of the Asian bar community, LANDMARK is thrilled to present 9 exclusive world-class guest shifts across its distinguished bars and restaurants.
Guests will have the chance to immerse themselves in the pinnacle of the cocktail scene and meet the globe’s most talented bartenders at some of the premier destinations at the LANDMARK including 8 1/2 Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA, Cardinal Point, MO Bar, SOMM, Please Don’t Tell, The Aubrey, and Zuma.
The Aubrey
The Aubrey, the vibrant contemporary izakaya at Mandarin Oriental ranked one of Asia’s 50 Best Bars recently launched “The Aubrey After Dark,” an opulent Friday late-night event born from the collaboration of elite local and international nightlife connoisseurs and is also presenting a series of guest shifts with iconic bars from the region to celebrate Asia’s 50 Best Bars.
Ft. Nobu Dubai
Date: 14 July 2024 | Time: 6-10pm
The Aubrey will welcome Angelo Immorlano from Nobu, Dubai for a guest shift. The Spanish-Italian native Angelo is an 18-year veteran who has previously been with Roka, Zuma London and Dubai and now drives Nobu Dubai’s innovative cocktails.
Ft. Cosmo Pony, Indonesia and Vesper, Bangkok
Date: 15 July 2024 | Time: 6-10pm
Cosmo Pony is the pioneering Jakarta cocktail bar created by Singapore’s acclaimed Jigger & Pony Group and Indonesia’s Union Group, it is helmed by renowned mixologist Silvio Daniele. His menu “Rising City” highlights Jakarta’s spirits and ingredients. Joining Cosmo Pony that night will also be Vesper from Bangkok, founded in 2014 which has earned recognition in Asia’s 50 Best Bars for 8 consecutive years and was ranked 55th on The World’s 50 Best Bars 2023.
Ft. Martiny’s, New York City

A historic Gramercy carriage house which offers a refined cocktail experience curated by co-founder and Beverage Director Takuma Watanabe which has received accolades like Best New U.S. Cocktail Bar ae well as ranking in North America’s 50 Best Bars.
Ft. The Bombay Canteen, India- Indian Omakase & Canteen meets Izakaya
Date: 18 July 2024 | Time: 5-7pm (Omakase), 6-10pm (Izakaya)
It’s India meets Japan via Hong Kong as The Aubrey team pairs up with Mumbai’s The Bombay Canteen to create a night of flavour-forward cocktails served in both an omakase and izakaya setting. The exclusive omakase experience will allow guests to explore the taste of India without borders as well as the beverage culture in Japan.
The award-winning restaurant and bar offers a unique selection of re-imagined classic cocktails with firm Indian roots for a one-night exclusive guest shift, featuring unique ingredients and flavour combinations which aim to bring Bombay’s untold stories to life through innovative cocktails, giving you a taste of the city’s vibrant culture.

Artifact
Ft. No Sleep Club and Charles H
Date: 16 July 2024 | Time: 10pm-2am
Artifact, the “secret” bar inside Basehall II at Jardine House is teaming up with Four Seasons Seoul’s Charles H (#42 World’s 50 Best Bars 2021) with its head bartender Odd Strandbakken in the house, as well as Singapore’s No Sleep Club (#20 Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2022) with co-founder and head bartender Juan-Yi Jun. Cocktails are available at $120 per drink or $500 for five drinks.

Ft. Lion City in Hong Kong – Atlas, Origin and Stay Gold Flamingo

Get ready for an electrifying evening at Cardinal Point. On July 14, the “Lion City in Hong Kong” guest shift will feature an all-star lineup of bartending talent from Singapore. The renowned Lidiyanah “Yana” K from Atlas, the innovative Adam Eddy Bursik from Origin, and the dynamic Amos Kew from Stay Gold Flamingo shake things up with their extraordinary cocktail creations. This is an evening you won’t want to miss!

Please Don’t Tell
Ft. The Bvlgari Bar Tokyo

On July 14, the speakeasy Please Don’t Tell, a World’s 50 Best Bars “Discovery” recommendation, invites cocktail enthusiasts to enjoy a special guest shift from The Bvlgari Bar Tokyo. The collaboration features a unique blend of cocktail notes from Andrea Minarelli, Bar Manager at The Bvlgari Bar Tokyo, and Daniel Valencia, Director of Mixology at PDT.
Andrea will showcase his artisan Italian cocktails during his visit, adding creative Japanese twists and playful touches. Daniel, on the other hand, will continue to charm guests with his exotic favourites. The duo promises an extraordinary cocktail experience that will take guests on a journey of flavours, where Italy meets Japan in an explosion of flavour.

ZUMA
Ft. The Pickwick Chronicles Bangkok

Zuma Hong Kong’s new bar manager, Andrei Makarevich will showcase his talent alongside Gabriel Gliga, the Chief Cocktail Officer of The Pickwicks Chronicles from Bangkok on the night before the Asia’s 50 Best Bars Award ceremony.
Gabriel Gliga will bring craft four distinctive cocktails, each with a summery and tropical flavour, while Andrei will complement Gabriel’s creations with his own Japanese highballs, Tansan Melon and Peach Haiboru. These cocktails are perfect for the summer, showcasing refreshing and tropical flavours. Each cocktail is priced at HKD 120.

8½ Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA

“Back to the Origins” kicks off on July 15 at the famed Bombana restaurant, marking Giancarlo Mancino’s first professional venture in Hong Kong since his tenure at Bombana working together with the eponymous chef to achieve the restaurant’s third Michelin star.
Teaming up with Chef Umberto Bombana once more, the two have curated a menu that celebrates their shared heritage with classic Italian dishes perfectly paired with exquisite cocktails. This unique collaboration promises an unforgettable dining experience. Throughout the evening, guests will notice a special emblem highlighting dishes from their original menu, culminating in a bespoke cocktail menu crafted exclusively for the occasion.
