Charity Christmas Market and Unlimited Festive Sales Rewards
Hong Kong, 20th November 2020 – LANDMARK and Santa Paws & friends remind us to share our love, goodwill and cheer this festive season with a special, charity-inspired Christmas theme that celebrates the wonderful sentiments of the Spirit of Giving.
LANDMARK marks the holiday festivities this year with Santa Paws, his exciting new Paws family member, Polar Paws, and their loving friends and companions. Their heart-warming Christmas story sees everyone gather together in donating their scarves, mufflers, candies, smiles and skating boots to kindle life and the Christmas spirit into Snowman with the Spirit of Giving, before Santa Paws’ special hat then brings their snowy companion magically to life. Their act of shared generosity reminds us all of the importance of love, kindness and thinking of others at this special time of year.
The Spirit of Giving Charity Christmas Market
Santa Paws, Polar Paws and their magical Snowman friend’s appearance at Hong Kong’s premier luxury shopping and lifestyle destination is sure to put everyone in a special holiday mood throughout the festive season. This year, the ground floor of LANDMARK ATRIUM has been transformed into a special Charity Christmas market from now until 3rd January 2021, inspired by the newly unveiled Hongkong Land HOME FUND. Created to support the long-term development of our future generations and our aspiration to contribute to the fostering of an inclusive society in Hong Kong, an initial HK$100 million Hongkong Land HOME FUND donation has been announced this Christmas.
Resplendent with a giant Snowman and Christmas tree, plus delightful appearances from Santa Paws and his friend Robo, the Charity Christmas Market installation features booths dedicated to supporting three non-profit organisations in Hong Kong.
“This Christmas, LANDMARK is celebrating the ‘Spirit of Giving’ with a charitable initiative that aims to support younger members of the Hong Kong community, helping inspire and encourage children and youths to fully pursue their aspirations,” explains Mr Raymond Chow, Executive Director of Hongkong Land. “Visitors to our Charity Christmas Market can enjoy the festivities and fine offerings to be experienced at LANDMARK, while the Christmas story by our Santa Paws and friends reminds us of the joy in helping others at this traditional time of communal celebration.”
Share in the spirit of good wishes and find the joy of giving at the LANDMARK ATRIUM, with a selection of specially curated festive merchandise. Visitors will enjoy browsing three delightful booths, with all proceeds from sales going to one of LANDMARK’s three designated charities, Youth Outreach, Make-A-Wish Hong Kong, and Principal Chan Free Tutorial World.
Centricity, Hongkong Land’s suite of digital and physical services for Hongkong Land office tenants, hosts a booth offering tasty festive treats with gingerbread, cupcakes, cookies, mince pies and steaming mugs of hot chocolate to enjoy. All proceeds will be donated to Youth Outreach, a charity that helps at-risk youths growing into responsible community members through engagement into unique and innovative cultural platforms.
The Make-A-Wish® Hong Kong booth will feature plush toys and Christmas decorations alongside a Wishing Machine where visitors can help the children of Make-A-Wish® Hong Kong by donating HK$20 to receive special Christmas stickers.
Celebrating the magic of Christmas, LANDMARK Christmas booth will be offering plushies, Christmas baubles containing hidden surprises, personalised Christmas stockings and jolly Santa Paws and Snowman themed balloons. All proceeds from this booth will go to Principal Chan Free Tutorial World, an organisation providing free learning support to Hong Kong’s underprivileged children whose families are experiencing financial difficulties.
The first ever charity auction of 12 adorable LANDMARK Polar Paws, each wearing a unique branded or handmade scarf from top brands including Harvey Nichols, HBX, KENZO, Moschino, Ralph Lauren and Tory Burch, will take place from 1st December to 18th December. Bidding will be available via the LANDMARK HONGKONG App under Giving Back with Polar Paws, with all bid donations also going to the designated charities.
